I had a reflection about your talk on differing perspectives, particularly the use of phrases like “you could be wrong, and I could be right.” Instead of focusing on right or wrong, given all perspective is essentially true/not true, focus on utility of a perspective. What really matters is what feels more useful and harmonious?
Can we rest in the true nature of our being and speak from here? Can you see beyond the stories and concepts to the real essence of what we are saying? And then share your perspective from here, back to here?
Perspective is only ever useful/not useful to the point that it brings us back home, back to our present experience and awareness.
So negativity is simply unuseful perspective. It literally obscures the truth. When you are seeing from the true nature of reality, negativity naturally dissolves. And then you choose useful, harmonious perspective accordingly.
People who dwell in negativity reify unhelpful views, creating layers that obscure the truth, as they are not in tune with the true nature of reality (which is light/transparent/formless and peaceful… ie less dense).
When rested in the actual reality, All that is true and peaceful sees through everything else back to this peace.
I have a friend that speaks from direct experience, so so ontologically, his words and tone is so beautiful,it contrasts someone who’s taking a strong dogmatic stance of opinion, which feels divisive.
One feels light and inspires unity, the other feels heavy and creates separation.
One feels resonant and clear and expansive, the other one feels full of conflict and defensiveness…contracting. You get the idea.
It’s all about where you’re speaking from, before the content. Then the content and your point falls into place.
Speaking on various issues without personal alignment misses the point.
To inspire your point, you must embody it. You could speak on all sorts of issues but if you’re not even coming from the solution yourself, you’re missing the point. Be the change you want to see, yes?
I feel your energy behind the words you speak. I was trying to say respectfully that It did not feel good to me, where you were coming from did not resonate true for me.
Lastly, I respect those that are digesting more societal perspective and issues, so long as we’re prioritizing our own alignment in the work that we’re here to do without getting distracted. We could even do work like the health care company and then have purposeful discussions About it that feed back into the work we are doing 😎
I love engaging flowstate discussions, but especially the ones that circle back around to inspiring us to act. See a post I made on X today! Woo lol.
Anyways, that was a fun little essay to write. Hope you enjoy it 😁
